![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 Still, that doesn't take away from the incredible character development and that mother-of-all cliffhanger endings. The love triangles, the lack of serious plot, it's a bit of a problem-movie in those regards. The problem? I have to admit that my opinion is kind-of wrong. I personally love this movie, and would usually put it much higher on my list of favorite Harry Potter movies. Often the movie just seems to drag on, as well, and is not always particularly well written. ![]() For child actors, the case is pretty decent. It's a great introduction to Harry Potter, but not without its flaws. The first Harry Potter movie, The Philosopher's Stone (or Sorcerer's Stone for our American audience) is a charming kid's movie filled with great moments, a ton of mystery, and a ton of fun. It rolls ever onwards in a journey that features a lot of great character development, but very little actual plot. I mean, none of them are bad movies, so you kind-of have nothing to worry about in that department. The penultimate Harry Potter film was by no means a bad movie.
